Curtis Watson, Sales/Marketing Coordinator 

Curtis joined LEWCO in December 2015.  Curtis comes to us from the SchlessmanCurtis Watson Employee Spotlight Large Seed Company where he served in a variety of project roles.  He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management from The University of Akron, where he also played quarterback on the football team.

Curtis' Responsibilities:

Curtis’ main responsibility is handling the sales and marketing for the industrial oven product line. The marketing portion of this role includes improving SEO, creating content, organizing attendance at trade shows, managing Google AdWords campaigns, and managing LEWCO website. The sales portion of this role includes responding to customer inquiries, entering opportunities in CRM database, and improving customer experiences and relationships. 

What inspired you to pursue a career in marketing?

Marketing gives me the opportunity to be multi-dimensional where I can obtain a variety of roles within my position.    I like the fact that marketing is constantly changing, you are always trying to get new material out and finding innovative ways to market the company’s product.           

What is one thing you couldn't live without?

I would have to say my family.

What kinds of hobbies and interest do you have outside of work? 

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with family and friends.  I am also a huge sports fan – especially football and basketball.
