Regional Sales Manager: Midwest Region (IL, IN, KY, MI)

LEWCO, Inc., a World Class industrial equipment manufacturer, continues to grow and is seeking an experienced Regional Sales manager.

Manages and directs sales activity in assigned territory to achieve sales and profit goals within that region.  Establishes new distributors where appropriate and evaluates current distributors to maximize sales potential.  Designs and recommends sales programs and sets short and long-term sales strategies for assigned region.  Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and regional sales potential.   Implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the region's sales volume.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

^ Meet specified, minimum sales volume goals
^ Act as first level customer liaison in all customer/company transactions
   and maintain high level of customer satisfaction.
^ Maintain high level of customer satisfaction through direct contact and
   coordination of internal company resources.
^ Manage territory sales within budget guidelines.
^ Follow all procedural and reporting paperwork requirements in a timely   
   manner.
^ Frequent travel is required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree and six to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 2 years Industrial sales experience within territory.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must be a self starter and have excellent negotiating, communicating, and organization skills. Must have strong manufacturing and technical comprehension.

Senior Buyer

LEWCO, Inc., a World-Class industrial equipment manufacturer, has a current opening for a Senior Buyer.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of successful purchasing and inventory control experience in a manufacturing setting with an emphasis in steel and off shore purchasing.

Qualified candidates should have project management experience with solid verbal and written communication skills.  Effective negotiation skills are essential.  Experience within a Lean Manufacturing environment including Kanban and Continuous Improvement is preferable.

Controls Engineer

LEWCO, Inc., a world class industrial equipment manufacturer, is seeking a controls engineer to supplement our Applications Engineering Team.  LEWCO, Inc. designs and manufactures material handling and process heating equipment for a variety of industries. 

Interested candidates should possess either a 2 year or 4 year degree in electrical engineering or a related field.  A minimum of 3-5 years experience designing control circuits is also required.  Experience designing, programming, and troubleshooting PLCs & HMIs for process machinery is desirable.  Proficiency with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office applications is also required. 

Candidates should be capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.  The ability to work well as part of a team and communicate technical concepts effectively is also expected.
